The local bakers, Fratelli Paganelli opened business in 1947 near the banks of the River Serchio, a 10 second walk up from Antica Locanda di Sesto trattoria in a tiny cobbled road through an arch that used to allow access for a horse and cart. They make various loaves, we prefer the Potato Flour variant as it lasts longer. They also cook pastries everyday and pizzas on Friday evening.
Emanuelle and cousin, Giovanni are the bakers; they use olive wood to power the oven.
Friday evening pizzas to take home.

At Easter the bakers bake a delicious turmeric bread as well as their favourite fruit bread.
The local grocer, Fratelli Paganelli that sells the bread is on the main road 150m north of the Antica Locanda di Sesto & Bakers
